Layered Diamonds Designs - Metal Art Wall Sculptures

Open designs are built up from individual pieces and allow you to see the wall through the openings in the piece, as well as the shadows cast by the lighting on the piece. Strong shadows add an illusion of extra depth.  Click on any image to see a larger image.

Puzzles are a dominant theme I like to play with. All of these wall sculptures have started out as one single whole piece of copper. After I apply the brass and patina, I cut them up and reassemble them into a higher, more aesthetically appealing state of order.
